| Field of view | able to project the full image of the top moderator and the pre-moderator surfaces (300 mm x 38 mm) |

| Background | noise to signal ratio less than 20% |
| Chopper | operation speeds from 7 Hz to at least 14 Hz |
| Detecrtion system | capable of making measurements of source power from 50 kW to 5 MW |
